BabyLegWarmers :)

Here are some pictures I took of Miles at 10 weeks in his baby legwarmers (I love them but I don't think Eric does...he thinks they might be too girly but I think they will be a godsend when Miles starts crawling). Miles had his 2 month checkup yesterday and he weighs 12 pounds5 ounces and is 24 inches long. He is in the 95th percentile for height (which he obviously doesn't get from his mom)! His pediatrician was really pleased with his growth and development but he called Miles a "lazy bones baby" when Miles didn't lift his head right away (Miles just flashed him a big ol' grin). Poor kiddo' had to have 3 shots and he was pretty fussy for the rest of the day...but he's back to his happy little self today :)

Here are a few more pictures from recent events...first, we had Shawna's graduation a few weekends ago and then we took a trip down to Valentine, NE to see Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Risseeuw. We had a lot of fun and got a chance to spend time with my cousins Jess, Sara and their little ones...Grandma and Gramps had all of their great-grandchildren in the same place and they were pretty excited (taking pictures was quite a challenge though). When we got home, we spent a few days in Brookings and went to Shawna's last dance recital and then to Allison's graduation in Watertown. Ross and his girlfriend Sara also graduated this past weekend, making it a busy time for all!

Miles' Baptism

Just thought I would post some pictures from Miles' baptism which was held April 16, 2010 at the Trinity Lutheran church in Watertown, SD. It was a really fun day and Miles wore the same outfit Eric wore for his baptism (starting a memorable tradition).
